MISSION STATEMENT
THE MISSION OF LIBERTY CHRISTIAN ACADEMY IS TO PROVIDE A QUALITY CHRISTIAN EDUCATION IN A CHRIST-CENTERED ENVIRONMENT IN ORDER TO REACH STUDENTS FOR CHRIST AND EQUIP THEM TO SERVE GOD AND IMPACT THE WORLD THROUGH BIBLICAL THOUGHT AND ACTION.
HISTORY
Established
in 1982, Liberty Christian Academy Has been providing quality
Christian education to the central Ohio area
ever since. responding to a need for an
independent Christian school, the doors
opened
with 135
students in
attendance in the fall of 1983 in preschool through 8th
grade. The school is chartered through the Ohio department of education and
consists of over 700 students presently enrolled in preschool through 12th
grade.
LOCATIONS
THE COLUMBUS CAMPUS of liberty Christian academy is located on the east side of the capital city of Ohio. it is in a residential neighborhood minutes away from restaurants and shopping centers. there is easy access to interstate 70 and 270. A 38,000 square foot former Columbus elementary school building including a large multipurpose room and full-size gymnasium, as well as two modular units, on seven acres of property comprise our present facilities. two branch campuses, one located in Pataskala , began operation in the 2000-2001 school YEAR, WHILE OUR second BRANCH CAMPUS LOCATED IN PICKERINGTON OPENED FOR THE 2004-2005 SCHOOL YEAR.
CURRICULUM

liberty Christian academy uses the a beka curriculum and in junior and senior high uses saxon math. strong emphasis is placed on phonics, computation skills, good study habits, and encouraging a disciplined approach to the pursuit of knowledge. a college prep program is followed, encouraging graduates to pursue institutions of higher learning. liberty Christian academy is a member of the association of Christian schools international (ACSI).
CHURCH AFFILIATION
liberty Christian academy is a nondenominational Christian school. liberty Christian academy was founded in order to provide an education that has the bible as its authority, and Christian principles and standards applied to every aspect of its operation. the school lists its essential beliefs in a Statement of Faith. these truths are emphasized in bible classes, chapels, and are accepted by every lca staff member.
