| LaVonne McIlrath, Adminisrator Thank you for your interest in Liberty Christian Academy. We appreciate the opportunity to provide you with information about our program. We continue to provide the same quality education and philosophy that have been integral to our program since 1983. I have been involved with Liberty Christian Academy since the Lord laid it on my husband’s heart to begin this ministry. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Ohio University and a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Dayton, I was hired at LCA in 1984 as a first grade teacher. Over the years I have been able to teach most elementary grade levels as well as a variety of high school subjects. The wide range of experience prepared me to begin in 1994 as Teacher Supervisor and later as full-time Administrator. The first year that Liberty began my daughter was in first grade and my son was in fourth grade. Now my grandchildren are enrolled! What a blessing to be in God’s work and see Him work from all perspectives – as a teacher, an administrator, a parent and now a grandparent!
