Liberty Christian Academy Affiliate Student Options - Effective for 2012-2013 School Year

The following policy has been adopted by Liberty Christian Academy pertaining to 7th-12th grade homeschool and former LCA students participating in LCA academic classes, athletic events and extracurricular activities.

Eligibility:

  • Homeschool students are eligible to apply.
  • Former students by invitation only are eligible to apply.

Process:

  • All students are required to complete
    • The application process
    • The covenant meeting
  •  All students must have "clear" accounts with LCA - no outstanding balances.

Expectations:

All students are held to the same standards as full-time LCA students and must abide by (including by not limited to):

  • LCA Handbook
  • LCA Standards of Conduct LCA Dress and Hair Code Guidelines
  • LCA academic eligibility/probation policies
  • All students must provide their own medical insurance. 

Academic Classes:

  • The tuition fee for the class is based on annual tuition and in proportion to the number of periods in attendance. Tuition for one class is $569. Book fee is determined by class schedule.
  • Students are responsible for purchasing school uniforms and books/supplies required for the individual classes.
  • Acceptance is determined in part by available seats in each classroom.

Sports/Extracurricular Activities:

  • All students participating in LCA's athletic program "pay to play" $250 per sport/activity.
  • Because of ACSI rules, students are not eligible to participate in ACSI contests unless enrolled in a class as an LCA student.
  • All students approved for the "pay to play" event have the option to enroll in an academic class. If enrolled in an academic class the "pay to play" fee is reduced to $125 per sport/activity.  
  • Students are eligible to take achievement tests with LCA students for a $25 testing fee.
