He believes LCA fully prepared him for college, and his professors have complimented him on his readiness and writing skills. He tested out of several General Education classes and also has a phenomenal biblical worldview which has helped him to take a bold stand at a secular school. He was able to obtain a supervisory security officer position on campus and has been awarded a summer internship with the Licking County Sheriff’s Department.
James Dewhurst, LCA class of 1994, currently pastors Real Church and meets in our faculty on Sunday mornings. He has a brother and two sisters that graduated from LCA, and now has a 5th grade daughter here. James speaks in our chapels and at other events. His high energy and experience as a youth pastor captures the attention of our students and challenges our students to give their all to the Lord. He is another LCA grad who is impacting the world for Christ!
