Juniors will take the ACT during the Spring Term

The ACT and SAT are important college entrance tests. Both college admissions tests measure what you have learned in high school to determine your academic readiness for college.

We encourage students to take the tests at least once before the end of their junior year.  Both tests are offered several times per year and students may take the tests as many times as they like.  Please visit the appropriate testing website for registration and testing dates.  Registration for the ACT and SAT require our school CEEB code 365228.

The Pre ACT is a test that is given to all sophomores and juniors enrolled at LCA.

Test Preparation

We are often asked how to best prepare for these tests.  Both the ACT and the SAT state that the best preparation is a solid curriculum in the first three years of high school.  Students who wish to further prepare may take advantage of the many practice tests, workshops, and online tutorials readily available.  We have listed many resources on this page.
