High School Guidance
As students journey through high school and begin to plan for their future, we offer guidance services to blend practical advice with a faith-based perspective.
I am Cherilynne Gohn, the Director of Guidance and Counseling Services at LCA. I have a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies from Zion Bible College and a Master's degree in Counseling from AGTS, Evangel University.
I guide students through their high school graduation requirements and assist students in discovering their passions while exploring potential career paths. Students face many decisions as they work toward completing their high school education. I am here to prayerfully guide them toward choices that align with their unique calling. From navigating college credit plus and the college planning and application process to college entrance testing, scholarships, college fairs, and making college campus visits, I am a resource for you and your student.

- PSAT - Optional for 10th and 11th Grade Students: SATURDAY October 11, 2025 8:00am - 12:00pm
- PreACT - 10th and 11th Grade: October 21, 2025 8:30am-11:30am
- ACT - Juniors: March 10, 2026 8:30am-12:00pm at Liberty Christian Academy
- IOWA Assessments: April 20, 2026 through April 24, 2026
College and Career Fair Dates
- Christian College Fair: September 16, 2025 9:15am-12:45pm at Harvest Prep
- LCA Career Fair - 8th through 12th Grade: October 10, 2025 9:00am-12:00pm at LCA Plex
