Check Out Our Latest Chapel

On the first chapel of April, the worship team did something very different from a regular chapel by performing worship songs the whole time and not having a speaker. The chairs were in a circle facing each other as opposed to the usual amount of chairs facing the front of the room. The students sang songs most of our school knows by heart, illustrating our love for the Lord in the form of music. They also played more acoustic instruments, with Sammy on acoustic bass and Carson on the congas.

Worship - Egypt sang by Savanna

Worship - Death Was Arrested sang by Abby

Worship - King of Kings sang by Regee

Worship - I Am Not Alone (Psalm 23) sang by RJ

Worship - Gratitude sang by Hudson

Worship - You Know My Name sang by Carson

Worship - Surely sang by Sammy

At Liberty Christian Academy, Chapel service at the elementary level aligns with our Mission Statement, “… to provide a quality Christian education in a Christ-centered environment in order to reach students for Christ and equip them to serve God and impact the world through biblical thought and action.” Our chapel curriculum this year is based on the premise that Jesus meets us in the midst of our mess. Life is messy, and as humans, we are fallible and very messy. Sometimes, the mess is physical, but many times, the mess is an internal mess. Students experience an object lesson, watch a skit performed by fifth graders, and then hear the message from the Bible and how it relates to their lives. This year, the goal is to develop the fifth graders into leaders of chapel. One skit has been written by a fifth grader and one has expressed interest in leading a chapel.
