Head of School
Amanda Cecil
I am honored to serve as the Head of School at Liberty Christian Academy, a place that has been close to my heart for many years. As a 1994 graduate of LCA, I am proud to now lead the very school that played such a pivotal role in my own education. My journey at Liberty Christian Academy began as a third grade student, and over the years, I have had the privilege of returning to serve in various roles that have allowed me to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students and families.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education from Ohio University and a Master's in Educational Leadership from Bob Jones University. In 2004, I joined the faculty at LCA as a preschool teacher, and over time, I taught in several elementary grade levels. My passion for nurturing young learners and guiding them through their academic and spiritual growth eventually led me to the position of Elementary Principal. It has been a joy to work alongside such dedicated faculty and staff, and I am grateful for the opportunity to now serve as Head of School.
On a personal note, my husband and I have been blessed to be married for 28 years, and together we have raised four wonderful children—each of whom has attended Liberty Christian Academy. Our family has experienced firsthand the value of a Christian education, and we have seen the impact it has had on our children's lives, both academically and spiritually. The values of faith, academic excellence, character, and service that are emphasized at LCA have shaped not only our children but also our family as a whole.
In my role as Head of School, my mission is to continue building on the foundation of excellence and faith that has been the hallmark of Liberty Christian Academy for decades. I am deeply committed to ensuring that our students receive a high-quality education rooted in biblical truth, where they are not only prepared academically but also equipped to make a positive impact on the world around them.
I am excited to partner with our talented faculty, supportive families, and the broader community to create an environment where every student is encouraged to grow spiritually, academically, and socially. My vision for LCA is one of continuous growth, innovation, and academic excellence, all while staying true to our Christian values and commitment to service.
It is a privilege to lead at Liberty Christian Academy, and I look forward to the exciting future that God has in store for our school.
Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer
Jeremy Blythe
Liberty Christian Academy has been a huge part of my life since I was a very young child. I was a student at LCA before I was a staff member. I started at LCA in Kindergarten our first year in 1983! It was during my Kindergarten year that I remember praying to become a Christian. I loved growing up at LCA. I have so many fond memories. While attending LCA, my mom, Brenda, served as our business manager for many years. I graduated from LCA in 1996.
After graduating, I attended Cedarville University and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management in 1999. Over the next twenty years I served as an LCA teacher, except for a few years where I served as the business administrator at our local church. While at the church, I gained a passion for nonprofit management which I am so excited to use today as the CFO/COO at LCA. Continuing our family legacy at LCA is a great thing.
My family has also been blessed to be part of the LCA legacy. My wife, Deanna, taught at LCA for twenty-four years. She is currently enjoying being a mom to our six children, Elcee, Isabel, Regee, Parker, Tyson, and Raymond. It has been a blessing for our family to have our children attend LCA as well. Extracurriculars at LCA keep us very busy!
LCA has been such an important part of my life that I love sharing this special place with our students and families. Over the past 40 plus years, God has used the faculty, staff, and administration to reach thousands of students for Christ. This is the primary focus of our mission statement. In addition, pursuing excellence in education and extracurriculars provides a well rounded environment for our students to learn and grow in Christ throughout their formative years. Whether you are a student, parent, grandparent, or prospective family, my prayer is that the love of Jesus is evident in all that we do.
